Welcome to the website for the AIDS Ministry of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Atlanta, Georgia.  Here you will find current information on events that our ministry has planned for the year, as well as community service events and educational resources.  If you would like to join our ministry, visit the Join Us link.  New members are always welcome.

AIDS Atlanta and the 9 participating agencies who benefit from AIDS walk Atlanta & 5k Run provide treatment and medications, prevention education, meals, mental health services, child care, substance abuse counseling, pastoral care, and clinical research to help thousands of our families, neighbors and friends living with, affected by, and at risk from HIV/AIDS in Atlanta.

 

Nancy Koughan, our team captain again in 2011, has set up our team page.  Go to www.aidswalkatlanta.com to register.  Click on the register tab and you can elect to join an existing team – Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Anyone can join our team – even from another parish.

Cada vida Merece Esperanza!

 

La organización del SIDA en Atlanta y las 9 agencias participantes que se benefician de la caminata contra el SIDA de 5 km, ofrecen tratamiento, y medicamentos, educación para la prevención, alimentación, servicios de salud mental, cuidado de niños, consejería sobre el abuso de substancias controladas, cuidado pastoral y la investigación clínica para ayudar a miles de nuestras familias, vecinos y amigos que viven, han sido afectados y/o están en riesgo de contagiarse de SIDA/VIH en Atlanta.
